Got a friend request from you - Great! us 'londoners' have got to stick together :-) i'm essex really, but son of cockneys

I did reply to your discussion for 10 mins and deleted it when
i realized my suggestion was online only and out of print - so figured no good for a bookshop. Then well busy with other things so went off on a tangent.

I did suggest listing your books in the blog itself, as looking in the spreadseet is extra work and may deter a few contributors

Current role is to support staff across the University in the effective use of technologies for learning and teaching and to collate and promote best practice.

Joined in January 2008, from the global learning technology group at PricewaterhouseCoopers, advising on adoption of emerging technologies within learning. Recently co-ordinated a series of eLearning projects to support development of professional skills within eLearning.

Started career as a primary teacher in London, then taught TEFL in Turkey and the UK. More recently worked in eLearning, eHR and eGovernment.

Would like to build a 'grand design' and/or spend more time in SW Turkey

Learning to be professional conference @Surrey University 31/3/09-01/04/09

This 'small' conference (i.e. rooms that can only fit around 30 people) has already been half put-together by SCEPTrE but have just been asked to help with "use of technology to facilitate learning to be a professional" strand. Apologies, caan't fly and accommodate due to lack of funds, but can pay fees if anyone would like to present (will probably not be anything more sophisticated than Skype+LogmeIn unless you have an access grid node available, if online).
