Hi Dr. Parrish Baker:
Welcome to College 2.0. I am a transplant from San Francisco, CA, to the beautiful island of Guam where I teach instructional technology in the School of Education at the University of Guam.
Professionally, I am an associate college professor and student affairs professional. I am a transplanted Buckeye who accompanied my husband to the Lone Star State for his career. We have two children; one is a sophomore in high school and the other a second year graduate student. I don't think life would be worth living without chocolate (just kidding...sorta). My greatest achievements are having my children and finally completing my Ph.D. 15 years after starting doctoral studies at The Ohio State University. My luckiest break was meeting my husband 28 years ago. One of my hobbies is learning about emerging technologies and I have taught graduate students online for four years. For these reasons, I have joined this community. BTW, for those interested in an international community of people who teach and do training utlizing various types of technologies and online resources, I invited you to join another online learning community called SCoPE (http://www.scope.http://scope.bccampus.ca/).
