Paula, I think this list of Top 100 Tools for Learning 2008 may be useful. Here are the Top 10 Tools Lists nominations. Includes my and other members' list of 10 Tools for Learning. As you can see Delicious was the Top Tool.

Not sure if these are necessarily my favorites but some you may want to consider using:

1) http://www.academicearth.org/ (Video lectures from the worlds top scholars)
2) http://www.classroom20.com (another network similar to this one)
3) http://www.netvibes.com (use as a classroom site. Lots of good ideas on this from Michael Wesch see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4yApagnr0s)
4) Google Apps (need I say more)
5) Jing (screen recording software....I use this ALL the time)

Thank you Todd! there are a couple here I did not know. I will have a look. I use Screen Toaster, that must be similar to Jing?

Paula - I agree with Eduardo that one of the best places to start is Jane Hart's list of the "Top 100 Tools...". I would not put Delicious in my top 5 though as I prefer bookmarking IN my browser. My absolute favourite (new to me actually) is Firefox 3 with the Foxmarks addin - this is a synchronizer so every time you change your bookmarks this info is synchronixed for you and comes to the Firefox browser wherever you open it (you have to sign in the first time you use Firefox at a new location but that is just a one time thing).
2nd favourite iGoogle main page
3rd ...have to think more!

I have tried the FREE version of DimDim 3 times and have finally become comfortable with its interface. I am hoping to use DimDim this fall with my students in the School of Education. I'll keep you posted.

A good list, but I prefer Diigo to Delicious. It has most of the same features but is better for collaborative learning with the ability to highlight and make comments on any web page that you share to a group. Very useful to make a classroom group.

On YouTube I usually find some of interesting resources for my teaching. But now I will move to YouTube Edu ;-)
