WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE 5 WEBSITES FOR TEACHING?

Hi Again! I would like to know what 5 websites or internet tools you consider your favourite and why. I aim to include some reference to those chosen by most of you in a talk I will be giving to fellow teachers soon. thank you!

1) http://www.academicearth.org/ (Video lectures from the worlds top scholars)
2) http://www.classroom20.com (another network similar to this one)
3) http://www.netvibes.com (use as a classroom site. Lots of good ideas on this from Michael Wesch see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4yApagnr0s)
4) Google Apps (need I say more)

I would not put Delicious in my top 5 though as I prefer bookmarking IN my browser. My absolute favourite (new to me actually) is Firefox 3 with the Foxmarks addin - this is a synchronizer so every time you change your bookmarks this info is synchronixed for you and comes to the Firefox browser wherever you open it (you have to sign in the first time you use Firefox at a new location but that is just a one time thing).

1- Social Bookmarking: Delicious:

- already saved 3,500 bookmarks
- bookmarks are tagged
- bookmarks available online
- share bookmarks with others, making me useful to members of my network
- my Delicious network, emapey's Network on Delicious
- Delicious Network finds great bookmarks for me

It has most of the same features but is better for collaborative learning with the ability to highlight and make comments on any web page that you share to a group.
