Some thing to talk about learning objects

Hi every one!!
I am just arriving to this network, so, i´d like to find some people to talk to about learning objects. We arrange some kind of definition about LO and we´re working on it with a several number or Universities in Colombia. This has been quite an experience!!
Definition and links to other conceptual documents was published in my blog. I invite you to read it,,,criticisms are well received indeed!!
I would be very happy to debate it.

Hello Andres,

I read your blog and think it is an important discussion, especially the idea of learning objects being open educational resources.

Does anyone work for an institution that frowns upon the sharing of learning objects developed as part of your job? I don't have a clear understanding of the policy on this issue where I work (or if there even is one), but I would like to start getting more involved in sites like MERLOT.

Hello Katherine, i am afraid that there is not such thing like a "clear understanding" about policies in this matter. We are now working with directive staff, wanting to inform about importance of OER iniciatives and the relevance of develop learning objects in this way. I am sure this is going to be a hard work, but it worth it.
